Balti

A familiar plot made into a good film by Unni Sivalingam. Incredible performance by Shane Nigam, especially in action set pieces and kabadi scenes. Alphonse Puthran gave a solid performance as Soda Babu. Only let down is the underwhelming third act. Kudos to Santhosh T Kuruvila for taking a big risk and pulling it of successfully. Do watch in theatres.

Kantara Chapter 1

This one is essentialy a rehash of the first film, with Hombale spending a ton load of money. Rishabh's grip in cinema makes it a good watch. Would have been a better film of they stuck to the main plot without resorting to a number of grand set pieces.
